The 'ASK' Workshop:
Assessing for Suicide in Kids
Suicide is a difficult topic and one that most people will avoid because they don’t know what to say. The issue of child suicide is even more delicate because many people assume children aren’t at risk. The unfortunate reality is that many of us know a child who may be at risk for suicide. This evidence-informed and highly interactive training teaches helpers what to watch for, and steps to take, for suicide prevention. Through informative videos, mini-lectures and group discussions participants gain practical tools and templates that can make a life-saving difference for a child at risk of suicide.
